about leeann

Hi!
My name is LeeAnn McCollum and I am currently a sophomore at the University
of Georgia. I was raised a bulldog fan, which is how I always knew
I would end up in the classic city of Athens. I was born in Toccoa,
Georgia, a beautiful little town in the northeast part of the state, where
I have lived my entire life. My family, which consists of my dad, mom,
and two younger sisters, still reside in Toccoa. My dad manages his own
business while flying part-time and my mom is a nurse practitioner. My
younger sisters are both in high school, Kimberly is in eleventh grade
and Paige is in ninth grade. Being the oldest means that they always
look up to me, which I love. I also have three dogs, Nicki, Kenya,
and Cain, and one cat, Anna belle.
I
graduated from Stephens County High School in the class of 2000. While
in high school I was involved in Yearbook Staff, Anchor Club, Beta Club,
Octagon Club, Student Council, Prom Committee, Fellowship of Christian
Athletes and Future Homemakers of America. I also played softball, basketball,
and golf. I'm still involved in recreation softball and coed recreational
flag football here at the university.
My
intended major at the University of Georgia is Family and Consumer Science
Education, although I am still unsure about what I want to do with the
rest of my life. I am currently working on obtaining my pilot's license,
which is what I would love to do as a profession. Just recently I soloed
and it was the most amazing feeling. In my free time I like to hang
out with my friends, exercise, water or snow ski, go flying with my dad,
travel or just relax.
